Eva Marie Henderson 92 Newton formerly of Robinson, IL. died Saturday November 25, 2000 at Newton Rest Haven Newton, IL. Eva was born in Crawford County on October 10, 1908. She was the daughter of Raymond & Stella (Morgan) Plummer. On October 28, 1928 Eva married Ausey H. Henderson. He died September 27, 1969. For many years Eva was a cook at the old Jones School rural Robinson. She was also a homemaker.

Eva was a member of Bible Chapel Church, Graduate of the Oblong High School Class of 1926, Women’s Fellowship at church, Home Extension for several years, 4H Leader (Serve & Save 4H Club Robinson. Eva loved to crochet, quilt and do crossword puzzles without using a dictionary.

She is survived by 2 Sons & Daughters-In-Law Glenn & Beverely Henderson and Stephen & Carolyn Henderson; 2 Daughters & Sons-In-Laws Ireta & Roy Dean Jordan and Martha & Norman “Joe” Beauchamp; 11 Grandchildren; 19 Great grandchildren; 2 Great great grandsons; 1 Brother & Sister-In-Law Ralph Carlos & Juanita Plummer; 2 Sisters-In-Laws Ethel Henderson and Rosalie Henderson. Eva is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and 1 Grandson (Russell “Rusty” Jordan). Burial is in Kirk Cemetery rural Robinson.
